Design Studio Profile
Please
allow me to introduce myself. My name is Dave Forgash, and
I am a graphic/web designer. Fortunately for people like
us, the career picks the person, and I haven’t looked
back since. Because of my passion for this work, I would
like to offer my services on a freelance contract
basis. My work experience covers a broad
variety of print media. I believe a solid technical
background makes for a more effective and well rounded
designer, which is why I have focused on developing strong
capabilities in production as well as layout and design.
Included in my print experience is the design and layout of
packaging, brochures, corporate ID, trade show graphics,
direct mail, media kits, coupons, publication ads, and
point of purchase displays.
While keeping with
a traditional design background, I have also become adept
at working with hardware and software. I can diagnose and
repair many computer-related issues and set up computers
for companies with design workstations. I have strong
skills with computer hardware as well as most related
software, and at my last place of employment, I installed
and maintained several workstations and laptops. With
an understanding of web programming, such as HTML and
Flash, I can design graphics for the web or even multimedia
projects, including static websites and Flash-based
Internet media.
